Running Prometheus Alert Manager as a Container
- First, let update the
prometheus.yml
file with Alert Manager DNSglobal:
scrape_interval: 15s # By default, scrape targets every 15 seconds.

monitor: 'codelab-monitor'

- Now create a blank alertmanager.yml file
touch alertmanager.yml
- Now lets run it as docker
docker run \

--name Alertmanager \
--network devops \
--volume $PWD/alertmanager.yml:/etc/prometheus/alermanager.yml \
prom/alertmanager
