Cross-Region Replication for Amazon S3
- For this Lab you would needing one more S3 bucket in different region as of current S3 bucket which we can used for the Lab
- Currently I have one S3 bucket in North Virginia region namely myfirst-s3-buck, I will created one more S3 in Paris Region namely myfirst-s3-buck-rep
- Versioning should be enable on both buckets, S3 replication doesn’t replicates the existing object it will only replicate the object which was upload to source S3 bucket once the replication was setted-up
- Now, we would need to go to S3 (myfirst-s3-buck) > Management > Replication > Add rule

- Select the destination S3 bucket created

- We would need allow S3 replication to create IAM role for doing this replication

- Save this replication rule,below screen saving the rule

- Now you upload some object in source bucket and check if its replicated over the destination bucket or not
