Creating An Amazon Machine Image
- Let’s create AMI image of EC2 instance in previous Lab 4.11
- For creating AMI image go to EC2 dashboard > Instance tab

- Now, select the instance
Click on Actions > Image > Create Image

- Input name of image as WebServer > click Create

- You will be able to see image getting created in AMI tab

- Now if you try to create EC2 instance, under My AMIs tab you should WebServer AMI image

- You can delete EC2 instance now!
