Working with Classic Load Balancer

Let’s create ELB-classic by going EC2 service dashboard > Load Balancers > Create Load Balancer
Here select Classic Load Balancer
Put a name for CLB > Next: Assign Security Group
Select default security group
Configure health as shown below
We are using custom health check page which is inside our EC2 instance named “health.html”
We are also using minimal values so instance are registered to CLB asap
Add the instance create in previous Lab
After one minute check below tab to see instance are marked as InService
From Description you should see DNS name of your CLB
Open DNS name of CLB in browser to see your Hello world page
Don’t delete the instance as needed in next lab
