Note: The question states that they are running our of storage space and they need a solution to store data with AWS rather than a backup. So for this purpose, gateway cached volumes are appropriate which will help them to avoid scaling their on-premises data center and allows them to store on AWS storage service while having the most recent files available for them at low latency.
