Java static code analysis using SonarQube
- Install Sonar Qube or run it as container using:
docker run -itd --rm --name sonarqube -p 9000:9000 sonarqube - Install Maven, here a tutorial of installing Maven on Amazon Linux / RHEL
- Login to SonarQube
<public-ip>:9000usingadmin/adminas default user id & password - Once logged in click on create project

- Enter the Project Key of your choice

- Put name as per your choice, it kinda of password to connect to your sonarqube from maven

Click on Continue

- Now select Java as language & Maven as build tool

Copy the command - Now, run above command on your Maven server, you will see your project getting built

- Now, go back to Sonarqube dashboard

Here, you shall see code analysis of the Java project that we just build
