Configuring access to Azure resources by assigning roles with Azure Portal

Navigate to the Azure portal by opening https://portal.azure.com.
Open the resource group and select VM1 from the list:
You will be redirected to the VM settings blade.
In the settings blade, select Access control (IAM) and click on Add | Add role assignment in the top menu:
In the Add role assignment blade, specify the following values:

Click on Save.
The user now has administrator permissions on the VM.
