Configuring a private DNS zone with Azure Portal
- Navigate to the Azure portal by opening https://portal.azure.com
- Click Create a resource in the left menu and type Private DNS Zone in the search bar.
- Click Create
- Add the following values to create a new DNS zone:
Subscription: Select a subscription.
Resource group: Select a Resource group
Name: internal.webmagicinformatica.com
Resource group location: Select a Region
- Click Create
- Now lets associate this DNS zone with a VNET, so this will make sure whenever you a VM its gets our DNS hostname
- Give the Link a Name and select VNET.
- Now if create VM in VNET which we linked to private DNS zone
Then you will be a DNS record in private DNS zone
- And its associate private of your VM
